New Patient Initial Assessment

When arriving at Mayz Dental Care, Los Alcazares, you will be given a very warm welcome at reception. A full medical and dental history will be taken before your dental appointment commences.

At your initial assessment, the dentist will carry out:

  • Thorough assessment of your gums and bone levels, with specific computerized chartings to help monitor progress.

  • Check teeth for decay or wear.

  • Check the jaw joint and soft tissues.

  • Oral cancer screening.

  • Digital x rays to check teeth and bone levels. (Included in price)

  • Intraoral camera to highlight any areas we may like to discuss, helping us to explain in simple terms your specific needs or topics that may be of interest.

    IF you need any treatment following the initial exam, we ensure:

  • Detailed treatment plans tailored for your individual needs.

  • Different treatment options given with the corresponding costs.

  • All options are explained and any questions you may have can be answered.

  • The treatment plan will be printed so you can take it home and consider all options in the comfort of your own home.

  • All prices are given before commencing any treatments.

    Any appointments, if required are made with our friendly receptionist before you leave the practice, and a reminder will be sent the day before your appointment to remind you, allowing you to relax and not worry about missing your vital dental appointments to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Recall Check Up

Regular (recall) visits to the dentist and hygienist are essential for preventing dental disease and maintaining a forever healthy mouth.

Emergency

Every day at Mayz Dental Care, we have allocated spaces for those who need a dentist or hygienist that same day to relieve any pain or discomfort you may be experiencing.

White Fillings
